Four Russian warplanes were intercepted while flying near Alaska, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said. Two Tu-95s and two Su-35s were found operating in Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on Wednesday, NORAD said. "Russian activity in the Alaskan ADIZ occurs regularly and is not seen as a threat," it added. This is the ninth such incident this year.
