A US federal judge on Tuesday blocked President Donald Trump's administration from refusing to issue passports to transgender and nonbinary citizens that reflect their gender identities. Earlier this year, Trump had signed an executive order recognising only male and female genders. The judge stated that the passport policy "likely violates the constitutional rights" of US citizens.
