A federal judge on Thursday temporarily halted the further construction of "Alligator Alcatraz", an immigration detention centre being built in Florida, for the next 14 days. This comes after environmental groups filed a lawsuit claiming that the construction at the site violates key environmental protections. In July, US President Donald Trump had visited the detention centre.
