Shawn Ryan Grell, who burned his 2-year-old daughter alive in 1999, has died in an Arizona prison at age 50. Convicted of a brutal Christmas-season murder, Grell was initially sentenced to death, later commuted to life due to intellectual disability. He was found dead in his cell on April 19. Authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of death.
