The US State Department is considering allocating $500 million from USAID to fund the US and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), Reuters reported. The GHF began distributing aid in Gaza last week after Israel lifted its 11-week blockade on aid. The aid group has faced criticism from humanitarian organisations including the UN for an alleged lack of neutrality.
