US Vice President JD Vance's half-brother, Cory Bowman, has lost the Cincinnati mayoral race to incumbent Aftab Pureval. A pastor and small business owner, Bowman moved to Cincinnati in 2020. He and Vance share the biological father, Donald Bowman. While Vance didn't fund Bowman's political campaign, Bowman also said his political ambitions were independent of his brother's national role.
