The USFDA has granted final approval for Prucalopride tablets (1 mg and 2 mg), used to treat chronic idiopathic constipation by stimulating natural colon contractions. With annual US sales of USD 186.8 million, the drug will be manufactured in Ahmedabad and is expected to enhance treatment options for constipation patients.
