The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) has secured a place in the 151–200 band of India’s top universities in the NIRF 2025 rankings — its fourth consecutive year in this category. USTM is the first and only private university from Northeast India to achieve this feat and now aims for a top-50 spot next year.
