PM Narendra Modi said usually Budgets focus on how to fill the government's treasury but the Budget 2025-26 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman focussed on the opposite. "It focuses on how to fill the pockets of the citizens," he added. He said the Budget lays a strong foundation for making citizens partners in the country's development.
