Under Project Praveen, Uttar Pradesh’s school students spend 90 minutes daily on skill training, resulting in 20,000 student certificates in 600+ schools. Rural youth have gained from the Deendayal Grameen Kaushalya scheme—1.8 lakh trained, 1.3 lakh placed. Internships under the PM Internship Scheme have placed 2,500+ youth in 500 companies. An overseas job training plan is also in the works.
