Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami announced to increase the ex-gratia amount given to fallen soldiers' families from ₹10 lakh to ₹50 lakh. The government order related to compliance with the announcement made by the Chief Minister has been issued on Monday, CMO said. This amount will be applicable to the fallen soldiers' dependents from July 26, 2024, the order stated.
