Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced four new Amrit Bharat trains for Bihar ahead of the state assembly elections. The trains will run on New Delhi-Patna, Darbhanga-Lucknow, Malda Town-Lucknow, and Saharsa-Amritsar routes. Vaishnaw said, "Centre is committed to make states like Bihar partners in the vision of a 'Viksit Bharat'." The polls are scheduled to be held in October and November.
