Vedanta Aluminium plans to ramp up its logistics cargo handling capacity to nearly 80MT from the current 55MT. The company moved 55MT of raw materials and finished aluminium products in FY2025 with a large portion being being transported through railways. During FY25, Railways transported nearly 1,617MT of freight cargo, of which Vedanta moved 4% of that volume.
