Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai said the verdict on bulldozer actions gave him "immense satisfaction" as it dealt with "human problems". Notably, a Supreme Court bench of Justices Gavai and KV Viswanathan, on November 13, 2024, had equated "bulldozer justice" with a lawless state of affairs where might was right and laid down pan-India guidelines.
