Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton have urged the FIA not to make cooling vests mandatory. This comes after the Formula One governing body declared a "heat hazard" for the Singapore Grand Prix 2025. "This needs to be a driver choice," Verstappen said, while Hamilton stated, "There's no driver that has ever died from overheating in the race."
