A study by SISSA in Italy stated that very massive stars or very luminous stars collapse and produce stellar winds crucial for systems to develop into black hole binaries. The discovery points that the luminous star's mass loss subsequently forms rare small black holes that are 100 to 10,000 times more massive than the sun and rarer to find.
