Veteran actress Jyoti Chandekar, a popular name in Marathi cinema and television, passed away in Pune on Saturday. She was 69. She had reportedly been undergoing medical treatment before her demise. Confirming the news, her daughter, actress Tejaswini Pandit, said the funeral will be held today. She was best known for her role as Purna Aaji in 'Tharal Tar Mag'.
