Vodafone Idea's shares surged over 6% in morning trade on Tuesday following reports that the government is considering providing it relief on outstanding regulatory dues of ₹84,000 crore. One of the proposals involves extending the repayment period for AGR-related dues, The Economic Times reported. The company had cautioned the government that it wouldn't be able to operate beyond FY26.
