Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday announced that he has tendered his resignation "to prioritise health care and abide by medical advice". Thanking PM Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu, Dhankhar said in a statement that he's "deeply thankful for the invaluable experiences and insights" he gained as the Vice President. The 74-year-old became the Vice President in 2022.
