Six family members of those killed in the 2008 Malegaon bomb blast approached the Bombay High Court challenging the order of the special NIA court that acquitted former BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur, Lt Col Prasad Purohit, and five others. A bomb strapped to a motorcycle detonated near a mosque in Malegaon, leaving six dead and nearly 100 others injured.
