BJP has expressed happiness after Meta apologised to the Indian government over CEO Mark Zuckerberg's false claim about India's election results. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said, "The Meta India has finally apologized for [Zuckerberg's] mistakes. This is the victory of...common citizens of India." Zuckerberg had cited India's example while saying that incumbent governments lost every election in 2024.
