The video gaming hardware sales have witnessed the biggest drop in five years. According to Mat Piscatella, the spending for video games in January 2025 decreased by 45% compared to January 2024. According to Piscatella, $205 million spent on video games in Jan 2025 is the lowest since the $131 million spent in January 2020.
