Government's PIB Fact Check flagged a video showing Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman promoting an investment platform and promising ₹12 lakh per month returns from a ₹21,000 investment and called it "fake". The video has been altered using AI technology, it said. "No such scheme has been launched or endorsed by the Finance Minister or the Government of India," it added.
