A video purportedly showing an accused, whose legs were in shackles, escaping police custody while staying at a hotel with police personnel in Odisha has surfaced online. The police were reportedly relaxing in a room when the incident occurred. The man, accused of smuggling drugs, was apparently brought to Gajapati district for a hearing in a local court.
