Typhoon Podul, travelling at 36 kilometres per hour speed, made landfall in Taiwan's southeast on Wednesday, forcing school and office closures as authorities warned of heavy rain and damaging winds across agricultural regions. Several videos have surfaced online showing damage caused by winds and rain. One person was reported missing and 33 others injured, the government said.
