In a landmark achievement, neuroscientists from 22 labs have produced the first brain-wide map showing neural activity during decision-making at single-cell resolution in a mammal. The findings, published as two studies in the journal Nature, tracked the activity of over 6,20,000 neurons in a mouse brain. The findings show how different regions of the brain work together to guide decision-making.
