The Madras High Court on Friday said that TVK chief Vijay fled the scene after stampede occurred at Karur rally which eventually claimed the lives of 41 people. The court stated that it reflects the leader's mindset. TVK blamed police's lathicharge for the stampede that took place on September 27. The court refused CBI probe in the matter.
