Actor-politician Vijay launched his statewide weekend tour from Tiruchirappalli on Saturday. He attacked the ruling DMK for not fulfilling its election promises and touched upon issues of women’s safety, alleged kidney theft, and waiver of educational loans. TVK chief's weekend campaign will continue till December. This comes ahead of the state's upcoming assembly elections.
