Actor-politician Vijay criticised DMK government, accusing it of betraying public trust by not delivering its promise to abolish NEET. Vijay quoted lyrics from MGR film and said, "How long will they deceive us in this land, in our own land, in our country?" His statement came a day after CM MK Stalin said only Centre holds authority to scrap NEET.
