Ex-India captain Virat Kohli on Wednesday broke Sachin Tendulkar's record for scoring most runs in ICC World Cups (ODI and T20I formats). With his 55*(56) against Afghanistan, Kohli took his tally of runs in World Cups to 2,311 in 53 innings. He overtook Sachin Tendulkar, who had scored 2,278 runs in 44 World Cup innings.
