India may soon offer visa-on-arrival for medical tourists from US and Europe, said Union minister for commerce and industry Piyush Goyal, as part of efforts to expand India's booming $18.2 billion medical tourism industry. He said that the government will also support the proposal to allow non-resident Indian (NRI) doctors to operate on Indian patients if Indian Medical Association agrees.
