Vodafone Idea's shares surged 14% and closed at 9.28% at ₹9.54 apiece on Monday (November 3) following Supreme Court's clarification on its AGR dues. The court cleared that government is free to consider relief on both additional and reassessment of AGR dues worth ₹9,500 crore and ₹80,000 crore, respectively. Adjacent telecom stocks like Indus Towers also rose by 5%.
