Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he'd nominated Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko to become the country's new PM. The recommendation was part of what he called "a transformation of the executive branch" of the Ukrainian government. Svyrydenko would replace incumbent Denys Shmyhal, who was appointed the PM in 2020, and become Ukraine's second female PM after Yulia Tymoshenko.
