Waaree Energies Limited has invested ₹300 crore in wholly-owned WESSPL via a rights issue of 60 crore partly paid-up shares at ₹5/share, with ₹5/share payable on call. The funds will establish a 3.5 GWh Lithium-Ion Advanced Chemistry Storage Cell plant. WESSPL remains wholly-owned; no approvals needed.
