Wajahat Khan who was arrested by Kolkata Police on Monday for allegedly insulting Hindu Gods and who had earlier filed a case against law student Sharmistha Panoli, was denied bail on Tuesday. Wajahat who was absconding since June 1 has been sent to police custody. Police had conducted multiple raids and issued several summons before arresting him.
