Walko Food Company, owner of NIC and Grameen Kulfi, has acquired Mumbai-based Meemee’s Ice Creams to enter India’s artisanal dessert space. The deal boosts Walko’s product portfolio and expands Meemee’s reach using its supply chain. Walko, backed by Jungle Ventures, reported ₹4.04 crore profit in FY24 and faces stiff competition in India’s booming $12.6 billion ice cream market.
