Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk was denied permission to sit on a fast demanding Sixth Schedule status for Ladakh at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Sharing a letter of rejection by Delhi Police, Wangchuk wrote, "Another frustration...Why is it so difficult to follow the path of Gandhi in his own country." Following this, Wangchuk began his sit-in at Ladakh Bhawan today.
