Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Tuesday said Beijing supports Iran in achieving a "genuine ceasefire" amid ongoing tensions with Israel. "China supports Iran in safeguarding its national sovereignty and security...so that people can return to normal life," Wang told his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi on a phone call. Israel accused Iran of violating the ceasefire.
