Devaraj NT, a pani puri vendor whose son died in the Bengaluru stampede during RCB's victory celebration, said he didn't allow him to clean plates as he wanted him to go to college. The victim, Manoj Kumar, was an 18-year-old first-year student at Presidency College. "It was Manoj who insisted that we should go to the stadium," his friend stated.
