All India Football Federation (AIFF) clarified that it had wanted to first notify the Supreme Court about the passage of the National Sports Governance Bill before raising the issue of ISL crisis. Earlier, AIFF had announced it would bring up ISL matter before Supreme Court on Monday. AIFF stated their senior counsel appeared before Supreme Court and made oral submissions.
