Allahabad High Court dismissed Waqf Madrasa Qasimul Uloom's 2011 petition seeking to restrain authorities from demolishing it for encroaching upon NHAI land in UP. HC noted madrasa failed to provide evidence that concerned land was registered as waqf property. Among properties to be demolished was a defunct police outpost, which the madrasa had falsely 'rented' to UP police for ₹34/month.
