Bengaluru Head Constable Narasimharaju, who held a solo protest against the suspension of Police Commissioner and other officials after the Bengaluru stampede, said he did so as he was "emotional". He stated, "Many of us work long hours, often without sleep...and to see colleagues suspended like this...it breaks your heart." He added, "Suspending officers...hits morale of the entire department."
