Shilpa Shetty's businessman husband Raj Kundra told Mumbai Police that his electrical and home appliances business suffered heavy losses due to demonetisation. He said that this led to collapse of the business' operations and he was unable to repay the borrowed ₹60 crore. Shilpa and Raj have been booked for fraud on complaint of the businessman who provided the loan.
