Washington DC Attorney General Brian Schwalb on Friday filed a lawsuit against US President Donald Trump administration, challenging its attempt to take control of the district's police department. Schwalb said the lawsuit aims to get the court to rule that Trump's takeover was illegal. Trump had ordered the deployment of National Guard after putting the police department under federal control.
