Rising water shortage may pose significant threat to India's sovereign creditworthiness in South Asia, Moody's Ratings warned on Tuesday. This comes amid prevailing water crisis in various parts of the country including Delhi and Bengaluru. "This is detrimental to credit health of the sovereign, and sectors that heavily consume water, such as coal power generators and steel-makers," Moody's said.
