Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that water earlier flowing to Pakistan will be diverted to Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan within 1.5 years. The move follows India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) after the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26. India is expediting projects like Kishanganga, Ratle and a Chenab-Ravi canal to utilise its share and ease shortages.
