Heavy rains lashed Hyderabad on Thursday evening, causing waterlogging and traffic jams in the city. A person riding a two-wheeler was seen being swept away in the rainwater at Srinagar Colony, which received 111.3 mm of rain, reports said. Khajaguda Sports Complex at Gachibowli received 123.5 mm of rainfall, the Telangana Development Planning Society said. State officials are on alert.
