A Waymo robotaxi killed KitKat, a store's locally-famous pet cat, in San Francisco. Three days later, Waymo said KitKat "darted under our car as it was pulling away" after picking up passengers, but denied taking responsibility for the accident. Kitkat's fans set up a memorial shrine outside the store, with one sign reading, "Kill a Waymo! Save a cat!"
