After West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee announced a salary hike for doctors, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh criticised the move, calling it a tactic to suppress protests. "The chief minister has bribed the doctors...She gave incentives so that they would not continue the agitation," Ghosh said. "The entire (health) administration is a failure," he added.
