Reacting to law student Sharmishta Panoli's arrest by West Bengal Police for allegedly making defamatory remarks against Islam, BJP MLA Shankar Ghosh said TMC-led West Bengal government has an anti-Hindu mindset. "This shows their desire to...appease a community," Ghosh added. "TMC MLAs and MPs have made derogatory remarks about Hindu deities. FIRs were filed...but no action was taken," he stated.
